Potassium iodide is a colorless or white cubic crystal, odorless, with a strong bitter and salty taste, and it is easy to release iodine in the air, which is yellow. Soluble in ethanol, acetone, methanol, glycerin and liquid chlorine, slightly soluble in ether, easily soluble in water, endothermic when dissolved, the aqueous solution is neutral or slightly acidic.

Feed grade potassium iodide is used as iodine supplement in feed processing. Feed-grade potassium iodide has high biological potency and is easily absorbed and utilized by livestock and poultry.
Adding potassium iodide to feed can meet the iodine demand of livestock and poultry, promote growth and development, improve feed utilization, and be used for iodine deficiency. It is often mixed in the feed by the stepwise dilution method.
Store in dry conditions below 30º C, away from sunlight. After opening, it should be stored in a separate package.
